Driving Instructions to the Dennett household
From Houston – Travel south on I45 (Gulf Freeway) to League City. Exit for 518 and turn left. After about four miles, 518 splits off to the right and the road going straight is 2094, stay on 2094. After about 3 miles you will pass Waterford Harbor and Watergate Yachting Center. There is a stop light at the entrance to Clear Lake Shores. The landmark here is Capt. Okie’s, our local liquor store. Turn left at this light onto Clear Lake Shores Drive. If you see Stewart Elementary you have gone to far (you can turn after Stewart Elementary and find your way back behind the school if you like).
Clear Lake Shores is a small community that prides itself in it’s enforcement of traffic laws, wave to the nice police man with the radar next to the white community building. After going over a small bridge and before the large white community building take the first right onto Birch. After a stop sign, and an another small bridge, you will find Harbor Lane. Turn left on Harbor Lane; we are the last house on the left, just before a gated entrance to a house. The house number is on the mail box. Total drive time from Downtown is just less then an hour assuming light traffic.
Approaching from highway 146 turn on to 2094 in downtown Kemah. Capt. Okies will be on the right, turn right onto Clear Lake Shores Drive (just before Okies) and proceed as above.
